ZENRIN MAP GALLERY

The ZENRIN Map Gallery opened on July 13, 2003 at the foot of Tokiwa Bridge, the bridge over Murasaki River in Kokura that served as Tadataka Ino窶冱 starting point for surveying Kyushu.
The ZENRIN Map Gallery displays the medium-scale map compiled by Tadataka Ino (full-scale duplication). Also on display are a variety of maps selected from among the maps gathered by ZENRIN窶冱 second president, Shinobu Osako. Come take a close look at the maps of Japan and abroad produced in different generations for a guide through reminiscences of the cultural and historical past.
