Since the time of its foundation, ZENRIN's point of departure has been to contribute to socienty through making maps. these activities begin with our survey staff collecting information that they see, hear, and feel as they actually walk through a city. Through the improvement in communication environments and the evolution of various devices, maps are now becoming a part of the infrastructure as much as electricity, gas, water, and communications, and there has been no change in the survey staff's core activities.
