ZENRIN started in 1948, right after World War Ⅱ, publishing tourist booklets of Beppu City in Oita Prefecture with a map attached. Since then, ZENRIN has developed its business by contributing to people’s lives by offering a variety of products and services, including residential maps and map data used in car navigation systems.
The use of map information is also diversifying due to various changes in the environment to solve social issues, such as the need for an advanced mobility society including safe driving support, the occurrence of frequent disasters, the aging of the population, and depopulation.
Leveraging our accumulated expertise, we are managing the vast amount of information we collect daily as a database, optimizing it for all kinds of uses, and making it available.
We aim to make a further leap forward from a map information supply company to a geospatial information utilization service company.
